Used various different mixer types
Experience of driving in the UK
Full CPC and Digi-tacho card
Good understanding of driver's hours and working time
Ability to complete paperwork
Must be able to follow current legislation EU drivers hours rules, Working time directive for mobile workers, Road Transport directive
Must be able to communicate in a courteous and helpful manner at all times
Must have a knowledge of the different types of concrete mix
Understand how to keep the mixer clean

Job Responsibility

Deliver concrete safely and efficiently
Liaise and build positive relationships with the internal Distribution Team and internal/external customers
Ensure all deliveries comply with legal requirements, prioritising health, safety, and environmental standards of Breedon
Work closely with the area Transport Manager to optimise delivery schedules and routes
Contribute to the team by maintaining a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends
