Job Description:

Gallagher Aggregates have exciting opportunities for Mixer Drivers to join our team. We have positions available in both Ashford and Maidstone. As a Mixer Driver you will report directly to the Transport Manager. Day to day reporting will be to the Plant Supervisor. Your primary responsibility as a mixer driver is the delivery of readymix concrete to our client base within Kent and the surrounding areas of your specific plant.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering ready mix concrete to our client within Kent
  • Monitoring and adjusting concrete slump when required
  • Correct completion of tablet based MOBILEticket system
  • Daily defect reporting
  • Daily drum and discharge equipment maintenance including build up cleaning and greasing
  • General duties as required around the Plant

Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Be hard working and flexible
  • 6/12 months HGV 2 experience
  • Mixer Truck experience desirable (training will be given)
  • Experience of construction type vehicles is desirable
