Job Description

Enjoy a varied caseload and great lifestyle while working with a supportive team. The Vet Centre has a rare opportunity to join our established, independent mixed practice in the growing Franklin region. We operate from two bases in Pukekohe and Waiuku, but the role is predominantly field-based, supporting our farming clients across Franklin. This is a full-time position offering a varied caseload of production and lifestyle work, plus a small percentage of equine and small animal. This is your chance to work in a dynamic, professional environment while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of Franklin — close to beaches, city amenities, and nature walks.

Job Responsibility

  • General production and lifestyle herd health and farm visits
  • Occasional equine and small animal consultations
  • Clinical decision-making in the field, independently and collaboratively
  • Client communication and education
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting

Requirements

  • Hold a relevant veterinary degree registerable in New Zealand
  • Ideally 3–4+ years’ experience
  • more experienced candidates encouraged
