In this role you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing operation in their respective department and the daily communications associated with manufacturing processes from both internal and/or external customers. Shift Hours: Monday - Friday from 4am - 12pm
Job Responsibility:
Apply the 3WS Weigh Ahead system and Mixroom Manual PRO18 to pre-weigh raw material
Set up and place filters to pipe work and pumps in the Mixroom and advise when to flush lines
Select and assemble solution filters, and perform integrity tests before and after use, referring to Mixroom Manual Pro 018 and Job Instruction Breakdown
Perform solution mixing tasks ensuring both day and afternoon shift batches are mixed and released on time to resume production
Perform daily and weekly cleaning and sanitization tasks required in the Mixroom
Set up bottle filling equipment for glass or plastic pour bottle production runs as required
Carry out sanitization of the distilled water reticulation system
Monitor distilled water usage and storage levels, liaising with Leading Hand or Supervisor if problems occur
Perform cleaning and passivation of stainless steel parts and equipment as required in Mixroom, Bottle Filling, and Viafl departments
Operate walking stacker safely to transport raw materials as required
Assist with the adding and removal of Sodium Lactate tanks
Advise shortages for chemical quantities and operating supplies required daily and report discrepancies to Leading Hand/Supervisor and appropriate departments
Assist with on-the-job training of Mixroom personnel
Assist with monthly raw material stock take when required
Use forklift safely to move materials as necessary
Incorporate EMS practices into the daily routine
