We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and proactive Mission System Engineer to join our high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the integration and management of tactical datalinks, such as Link 16 and Variable Message Format (VMF), as well as a strong background in network management within the aerospace sector. Experience with C2 ISR systems will be highly valued. Job Responsibility:
Integration, configuration, testing, and management of tactical datalinks such as Link 16, VMF, and others
Design, configuration, optimization, and security management of network infrastructures
Seamless integration of tactical datalinks and networks within aerospace platforms
Supervision of technical aspects of projects
Lead and manage development and integration activities from requirements capture to verification and validation
Participate in procurement activities, from supplier selection to control and monitoring activities
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including avionics, software, and systems engineering
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
Extensive experience in the integration, configuration, testing, and management of tactical datalinks such as Link 16 and VMF
Experience in managing and optimizing network infrastructures, including configuration, security, and performance tuning of protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP
Proven experience in the aerospace sector, with a deep understanding of aerospace systems and networks
Knowledge and experience with Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems
Excellent knowledge of development and integration activities, from requirements capture to verification and validation activities to achieve a qualified and certified system
Good knowledge of procurement activities, from supplier selection to control and monitoring activities
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and network security practices
Proficiency in network protocols, aerospace-specific technologies, and tactical datalink systems
Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Proactiveness, excellent communication skills, assertiveness, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
Willingness to travel as needed
Strong verbal and written skills in both Spanish and English
Nice to have:
A Master's degree in a relevant field
Experience with specific equipment and protocols used in tactical datalinks
Experience in defense or military projects
