As a member of the Mission Assurance team, you'll be working with our partners across the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and international Ministries of Defense to define and deliver incredible maritime capability. Specifically, you will plan and execute multiple reports, demonstrations, and exercises for U.S. and international defense and government stakeholders. You will manage multiple defense contract deliverables, ensuring high quality, on-time delivery of key contractual reports, demonstrations, and analyses. Furthermore, as part of the Mission Assurance Team, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to oversee and implement compliance programs, including financial and regulatory reporting, safety management systems, facility clearance procedures, and site security protocols, in accordance with government and contractual requirements. Additionally, you will work with the REGENT engineering team and other cross-functional teams to drive capabilities that meet the mission needs of defense customers, ensuring the effective and efficient design, testing, evaluation, and development of specific requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate to develop, plan, and execute contract deliverable reports simultaneously across multiple defense contracts
Finalize and execute newly captured contract opportunities, working across business development, legal, intellectual property, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless value delivery to customers
Manage deliverable schedules, coordinate internal reviews, and ensure on-time submission of high-quality reports, demonstrations, and analyses in accordance with contractual terms
Support proposal development efforts by contributing technical content, coordinating inputs from engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and oversee the implementation of government compliance programs, keeping up to date with changes to the federal contractor requirements
Collaborate with the IT department to implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols in accordance with NIST 800-171, CMMC, and other DoD requirements
Work with the finance and accounting team to develop and submit financial compliance reports, including SF-1408, DCAA audits, and cost accounting standards, as required
Partner with the test team to ensure proper documentation, verification, and validation of performance requirements for government stakeholders
Spearhead the security clearance program, including continued authorization to handle CUI documents and the future ability to handle classified material
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including performance, test, structures, and manufacturing engineers
test crews and other personnel to translate mission requirements into engineering and performance-based deliverables
Support the definition and decomposition of government requirements across the vehicle system and subsystems
Assist in the coordination of technical reviews, design reviews, and customer demonstrations
Track and manage technical action items, risks, and issues affecting program delivery
Continuously evaluate, refine, and improve designs based on test data and real-world feedback from defense operations
Build and maintain relationships with government customers, program offices, and contracting officers
Represent REGENT at customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
Prepare briefing materials and presentations for senior government and military leadership
Coordinate logistics for demonstrations, exercises, and operational assessments
Requirements:
Separating or retiring members of the U.S. military
Eligibility for the U.S. Department of Defense Skillbridge program
Experience in defense and maritime operations, policy making, acquisitions, or research and development
Nice to have:
Experience working with defense innovation organizations (e.g., DARPA, DIU, NavalX, AFWERX, Army Applications Lab)
Background with defense acquisition programs, particularly rapid prototyping initiatives
Familiarity with DoD contracting vehicles (OTAs, FAR-based contracts, BPAs, IDIQs)
Experience with capital investment offices (e.g., Office of Strategic Capital, defense venture capital)
Knowledge of Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard operations, particularly in surface warfare, unmanned systems, and maritime logistics
Understanding of cybersecurity requirements and compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171, CMMC, etc)
Active or recently held security clearance (Secret or higher)
