MinuteClinic Virtual Care Psychiatric Mental Health NP/Family NP

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems
• Provide health counseling, psychiatric diagnosis and prescribing, mental health counseling and disposition planning
• Education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI Prevention and safer sex practices
• Serve as clinical expert and resource for clinical quality initiatives
• Develop program and provide process improvement insight
• Provide oversight of behavioral health care including quality and training to new providers
• Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients
• Provide patient counseling including pregnancy prevention, STI Prevention/safer sex practices, contraceptive care counseling and medication management
• Educate patients on health maintenance
• Document all patient care within an EHR
• Coordinate patient care with internal and external colleagues

• Must hold current, unrestricted license in IL, CA, AZ, MN, and/or MO
• Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner and Psych-Mental Health program
• Current National Board Certification
• State of Employment license to practice in Advanced Practice Nurse roles
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
• High speed/broadband internet connectivity
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility
• Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
• Proficient with information management and technology
• Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues

Proficiency in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish
