Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Oral Surgeon to join our established Minor Oral Surgery Service in Speke, Liverpool. Due to continued referral growth and service expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced clinician to deliver advanced minor oral surgery within a structured and well-supported clinical setting. This role is suited to a consultant-level clinician who is confident in managing complex surgical extractions and working within NHS referral pathways while maintaining exceptional clinical standards. You will work within a modern, professionally managed practice environment supported by experienced dental nurses and a dedicated management team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering Minor Oral Surgery services to referred patients
  • Ensuring high-quality patient care
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Adherence to all clinical governance and infection control protocols

Requirements:

  • Consultant Oral Surgeon
  • GDC-registered dentist
  • Active NHS performer number
  • Demonstrable experience in Minor Oral Surgery, including surgical extractions
  • NHS MOSS experience preferred
  • Valid professional indemnity cover
  • Up-to-date compliance documentation (DBS, Hepatitis B, safeguarding, CPD, etc.)
  • Confident in managing referrals within NHS clinical pathways
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high clinical governance standards
  • Availability to work evenings and Saturdays
