Expected work schedule for the Boston Ministry Leader: We offer flexible full or part time schedules. Overtime or weekends may be required for specific events as well as attendance at the annual IFI retreat. Pay structure for a Boston Ministry Leader: IFI provides training in order to equip the Ministry Leader in personal fundraising. The Ministry Leader will develop a team of partners to cover financial needs such as salary, benefits, ministry expenses, and pray for their ministry. A Ministry Leader can expect a salary of $27,274-$84,872 based on experience and other factors. About the Area and Responsibilities of a Boston Ministry Leader: There are over 50,000 international students studying on 28 campuses in the Boston, MA area. Boston offers an amazing opportunity to befriend and show hospitality to international students on some of the most influential campuses in the world, impacting tomorrow's leaders from all over the world. This position is part of the Boston ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving. As a Boston Ministry Leader, you will establish a presence by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers. Your responsibilities include leading the location's ministry efforts, mobilizing others to host Bible discussion groups, and organizing cultural events. You will also ensure that IFI is recognized as a student organization, maintain strong campus relationships, and secure the necessary financial and prayer support. Qualifications Needed from the Boston Ministry Leader, including Spiritual Characteristics: The Ministry Leader must adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies. The Ministry Leader must be a person of character who faithfully extends God's love globally by mobilizing Christians to effectively communicate the Gospel in the context of various cultures. Education/Experience for a Boston Ministry Leader: Demonstrated ministry, training and mobilization experience required; Experience in cross-cultural ministry, preferred; College degree preferred
