Mining Equipment Trainer will educate and train mining personnel on the proper operation of various mining machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of mining equipment, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. This role involves assessing training needs, creating instructional materials, conducting hands-on training sessions, and evaluating trainee performance to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Job Responsibility:
Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions on mining heavy machinery (e.g., Excavators, Mining OHT Dump Trucks, Dozers, Loaders, Graders, Drills - mainly CAT)
Develop presentations and training plans, instructional materials, and performance assessments
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures and clients procedures
Ensure the operational best practices of the heavy equipment operators
Manage the training tools and simulation trainings
Supervise and guide trainees during hands-on equipment operation
Prepare technical reports, elaborate training matrix and issue completion certificates
Manage and implement the training plan
Requirements:
Technical or vocational education in heavy equipment operation or mechanical engineering
Valid certification as a heavy equipment instructor
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience operating various types of heavy machinery
Solid knowledge of safety standards and regulatory safety rules and procedures (e.g., OSHA)
Pedagogic training and instructional skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel
PPT)
Speaking Armenian or Russian, fluent in English is a plus
