As a Mining Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding relationships with strategic VIP and contracted mining customers. Your efforts will directly impact business growth by targeting new major mining customers, linking mines with our MRO and branch network, driving profitable sales outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Build and nurture productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned mining accounts
  • Identify and develop strategies to win new major mining customers and expand business with existing accounts
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and supplier partners to meet account objectives
  • Achieve assigned sales budgets and strategic account targets
  • Maintain accurate customer interaction records and sales reporting through CRM systems
  • Promote Motion’s online sales platform to enhance customer engagement
  • Ensure compliance with WHS&E policies and actively contribute to workplace safety
  • Driving a Mining team of 3

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel across QLD and potentially to NSW as required
  • Proven strategic sales experience in a business-to-business environment, preferably within mining or industrial sectors
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and commercial skills
  • Product knowledge in mining-related equipment and MRO business
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Power BI reporting knowledge is an advantage
  • Demonstrated commercial maturity, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • You must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position
