We’re seeking an experienced Millwright to join our construction team. This role is responsible for installing, assembling, aligning, and maintaining heavy industrial equipment on active construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, a commitment to safety, and experience working with precision tools in the field.
Job Responsibility:
Install and align pumps, conveyors, turbines, compressors, and other mechanical equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings
Perform rigging, lifting, and machinery moves safely and efficiently
Use precision tools (dial indicators, laser alignment, etc.) to ensure proper setup
Collaborate with other trades to coordinate installation and project workflow
Follow all OSHA and company safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a millwright in a construction or industrial setting
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
NCCER Millwright or equivalent certification a plus
OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
Ability to navigate active construction areas with uneven terrain, temporary and permanent stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and personnel hoists
Constant standing, walking, and performing repetitive physical tasks
Must frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing over 50 pounds with assistance
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching (above and below shoulder level)
Sufficient physical dexterity and balance to work safely at various heights and in confined spaces
Visual acuity (including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus)
Adequate hearing (with or without assistive devices) to understand instructions and warnings in a noisy environment
Must be able to work safely around heavy equipment and construction traffic
Must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
