We are recruiting for a millwright join a growing manufacturing team located in Cambridge. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for diagnosing and remedying mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues across the production facility.
Job Responsibility:
Trade Compliance: Perform all duties in accordance with the Regulated Trade 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright standards
Maintenance & Repair: Execute preventive maintenance and repairs on welders, weld fixtures, and all other facility equipment
Precision Measurement: Read and interpret micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring instruments
Machine Operation: Operate machine tools including lathes, mills, and grinder drills
System Knowledge: Apply working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and air/hydraulic logic controls
Mechanical Alignment: Align shafts, couplings, motors, and drivers
scrape and bed bearing ways, slides, and gibs
Troubleshooting: Determine the cause of breakdowns and establish corrective actions
monitor press performance via sound and visual inspection to prevent damage
Lubrication Systems: Troubleshoot automatic lubrication systems to ensure proper flow to all machine points
Fabrication: Remove broken components and repair via welding or complete refitting and reassembling of replacement parts
Requirements:
Valid 433a - millwright license
Ability to work all three shifts
Prior experience working in an automotive sector would be considered an asset
