Job Description:

We are currently looking to add a Millwright for a food company located in Mitchell, Ontario. The role includes working on plant utilities, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. A 433a certification is required, and prior experience in a food environment would be an asset. Benefits include pension plan matching, vacation time, and significant overtime pay.

Job Responsibility:

Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
Working independently and in a team environment
Communicating effectively
Working with CMMS
Working on automated packaging equipment
Completing welding and pipe fitting tasks
Obtaining Lift Truck license

Requirements:

Experience with plant utilities including HVAC, boiler, chiller and ammonia compressors
Refrigeration B certificate or ability to be certified within a year
Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting ability
Good communication skills, including written and verbal
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Computer competence to work with a CMMS
Hands-on experience on highly automated packaging equipment
Experience with welding and pipe fitting
Ability to obtain Lift Truck license
433a certification with industrial experience
Experience in food environment
Ability to work in a team-based environment

Nice to have:

Refrigeration B certificate
Hands-on experience on highly automated packaging equipment
Experience with welding and pipe fitting
