Job Description

We are currently looking to add a Millwright for a food company located in Mitchell, Ontario. Location: Mitchell, ON Shift: Days, Afternoons, Nights - 2 week rotation. Overtime is paid past 40 hours. Saturdays - 1.5x pay. Sundays- 2xpay. Benefits- offered after 3 months. PENSION PLAN- 7% MATCH!!! Pay rate: $43.19 to $49.34. Tickets: 433a.

Job Responsibility

  • Experience with plant utilities including HVAC, boiler, chiller and ammonia compressors would be considered an asset
  • Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting ability
  • Good communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Computer competence to work with a CMMS
  • Hands on experience on highly automated packaging equipment would be considered an asset
  • Experience with welding and pipe fitting would be considered an asset
  • Ability to obtain their Lift Truck license

Requirements

  • 433a with industrial experience
  • Prior experience working within a food environment would be an asset
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Experience with plant utilities including HVAC, boiler, chiller and ammonia compressors would be considered an asset
