Job Description:

A premier global manufacturer of industrial equipment is seeking a high-level Maintenance individual to oversee our primary production facility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Repair & Maintenance: Fix and maintain shop equipment including CNC lathes, manual mills, plate rollers, saws, and air compressors
  • Scheduling: Plan out your own daily work and assign specific repair tasks to other maintenance staff
  • Preventative Work: Perform regular inspections and electrical/mechanical checks to stop breakdowns before they happen
  • Breakdown Support: Lead the repair efforts when machines go down and investigate why it happened to prevent it from repeating
  • Collaboration: Work with machine operators to improve safety and reduce machine downtime
  • On-Call: Be available to handle repairs on essential equipment when needed

Requirements:

  • 433a or registered apprentice
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working in a factory or plant in the maintenance department
  • Must know how to work on heavy machinery and have basic knowledge of PLCs and control systems
  • Good communication skills and comfortable using a computer for basic tasks
