Millwright - Heavy Machinery Contractor | Field Projects

Our client, a dynamic leader in the construction and large-scale project services industry, is looking for a detail-oriented Industrial Millwright for an upcoming project starting this August. This role is based out of their Calgary shop with regular mobilization to remote project locations (such as Mackenzie, BC). It is designed for an independent contractor or a flexible tradesperson looking for a stable 6 to 12-month contract with a high degree of precision work. As a Millwright, you will be trusted with highly critical, complex equipment where guesswork isn't an option—focusing on torque accuracy (Newton-meters), massive high-tonnage machinery (up to 12k tons), and specialized fluid transfer systems. Candidates who also possess an electrical ticket will be highly utilized across both disciplines and compensated at a premium rate.
