Job Description:

CSU Mechanical Discipline Lead - Millwright role with contract duration from April 20, 2026 to December 31, 2026. Work schedule is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 11 hrs per day at McArthur River with flights from Saskatoon, SK.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements
  • Physically perform trade work while carrying the responsibility for direct supervision of trade crews
  • Modifying, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, and inspecting mechanical and piping installations
  • Identifying and documenting deficiencies
  • Completing Cameco defined commissioning documentation
  • Recording final and accurate as-built/as-left conditions on redline drawings, datasheets, and project documentation
  • Participating in commissioning team meetings
  • Support and provide input to development of detailed plans for execution of work
  • Monitoring the schedule and productivity of work and work collaboratively to resolve issues and barriers

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson millwright
  • Previous experience in a brown field commissioning environment is required
  • Hands on proven experience in commissioning and start-up activities is required
  • Supervisor training/certification is required
  • Proficient computer skills required

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in a nuclear facility is preferred
  • Safety certificate is highly preferred
