Job Description:

Robert Half Contracts Accounting & Finance Division is seeking 5-10 Military Tax Counselors for a 100% remote position. The role involves empowering people to transform their financial future, particularly serving military service members and their families. Counselors are part of an experienced and professional team that values integrity, teamwork, and continuous development.

Requirements:

  • AFC certification (required)
  • 5+ years experience in a relevant consumer finance arena
  • Previous military experience or experience supporting military service members (preferred)
  • Motivational skills to inspire behavioral change around personal financial habits
  • Proven track record persuading clients to engage in value-added services and solutions
  • Superlative listening skills that lead you to empathy and understanding
  • Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
  • A high level of comfort with computers, software, and technology
  • An openness to a culture of continuous development
  • A passion for helping people in need
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this specific role
  • Ability to travel on occasion may be required
  • Flexible and available to work a varied schedule from Monday to Friday between 4:00 am and 7:00 pm PT, with availability to work one weekend a month
