Job Responsibility:
Support test and evaluation activities to include development of test procedures, supporting the execution of test and evaluation events, create/conduct new equipment training, perform hardware and software analysis, and troubleshoot across complex military systems
Support the design, creation and execution of hardware/software test cases, scenarios, and procedures that incorporates the use of a variety of software applications and tools
Assists in defining integration and testing processes and procedures
Performs unit testing, configuration item and system level tests, and supports verification/validation testing as required
Develops test plans and test reports for all levels of testing performed
Works closely with the leads, development staff and systems engineers to thoroughly understand the system requirements and hardware/software implementation
Works closely with leadership to identify and define testing strategies and plan resources to ensure adequate assets are in place for all testing activities
Analyzes test results, metrics and trends and provides feedback to development and systems engineers
Assist the product support team in the creation and maintenance of system training documentation, as well as the conduct of new equipment training
Requirements:
Former U.S. Army or Marine Corps Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry etc.
Must be able to take initiative, communicate with team members, and identify and resolve potential issues
Translate technical objectives into user level requirements and training/Human Factor related criteria
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
Travel is required
Must be comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds
An Active Secret Clearance
Nice to have:
Experience as a military instructor
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional relevant experience preferred
Squad/Platoon/Company level tactical and leadership experience on required platform
Regular travel is required to support testing and training activities at various locations
