Job Responsibility:

  • Support test and evaluation activities to include development of test procedures, supporting the execution of test and evaluation events, create/conduct new equipment training, perform hardware and software analysis, and troubleshoot across complex military systems
  • Support the design, creation and execution of hardware/software test cases, scenarios, and procedures that incorporates the use of a variety of software applications and tools
  • Assists in defining integration and testing processes and procedures
  • Performs unit testing, configuration item and system level tests, and supports verification/validation testing as required
  • Develops test plans and test reports for all levels of testing performed
  • Works closely with the leads, development staff and systems engineers to thoroughly understand the system requirements and hardware/software implementation
  • Works closely with leadership to identify and define testing strategies and plan resources to ensure adequate assets are in place for all testing activities
  • Analyzes test results, metrics and trends and provides feedback to development and systems engineers
  • Assist the product support team in the creation and maintenance of system training documentation, as well as the conduct of new equipment training

Requirements:

  • Former U.S. Army or Marine Corps Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry etc.
  • Must be able to take initiative, communicate with team members, and identify and resolve potential issues
  • Translate technical objectives into user level requirements and training/Human Factor related criteria
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Travel is required
  • Must be comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds
  • An Active Secret Clearance

Nice to have:

  • Experience as a military instructor
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional relevant experience preferred
  • Squad/Platoon/Company level tactical and leadership experience on required platform
  • Regular travel is required to support testing and training activities at various locations
