Job Description:

We are looking for a Midweight Video Editor to join our LADbible Production team. With a working history at a production, agency, media owner or brand environment, our ideal candidate will have experience editing branded content for online, working to tight deadlines and building and maintaining working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Edit to a high standard using Adobe Premiere, working across commercial, social and marketing projects
  • Undertake animation and motion graphics tasks at a high level
  • Assisting other editors when needed under the direction and guidance of the Senior Video Editors
  • Ad-hoc shoot support duties, such as DITing
  • Keeping up to date with video trends and feeding back in the right forums
  • Colour correction and grading images and videos, conforming to broadcast and social standards and guidelines
  • Sourcing audio tracks and sound mixing edits, creating well mastered tracks across multiple layers
  • Ensuring all content is produced within brand guidelines and in-keeping with the tone of relevant LADbible Group channels
  • Taking direction of the Lead and Senior Video Editors to complete editing tasks
  • Work with internal and external stake-holders to manage projects to a high standard, adhering to LADbible Video Team workflows and processes at all times
  • Guiding more junior members of the video team, teaching best practices and maintaining and policing their technical processes
  • Maintain hard-drives and archives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience in a similar role at a production company, post-house, agency, publisher or brand
  • Professional experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
  • High level of proficiency in colour grading using Adobe Premiere
  • High level of proficiency in sound mixing and mastering
  • Passion for social and branded content
  • Be able to demonstrate initiative, problem solving and creativity on a daily basis
  • Confident in Microsoft Office Suite of program
