Job Description

As a Midweight Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our in-house creative agency, the B-Hive. You’ll work closely with our Creative Lead and Lead Designers to deliver stunning design collateral across various media, including campaigns, print, digital, and in-store. Your innovative ideas will help shape the visual identity of some of the most recognisable brands in the beauty industry, including No7 and Soap & Glory.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with the design team to create impactful designs that align with brand guidelines
  • Bring fresh ideas to life while maintaining established brand identities
  • Ensure all creative work meets briefs and is delivered to the highest standard
  • Build a strong understanding of the beauty market and our brands
  • Present your work confidently across the business, communicating your creative vision effectively.

Requirements

  • A degree in Graphic Design or a relevant subject, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in print and digital design
  • At least 4 years' experience in campaign work, demonstrating your skills in print, editorial design, and digital content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
  • A passion for working in a dynamic agency environment across multiple brands.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the beauty industry or a similar field
  • Line management or mentoring experience
  • Familiarity with After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Figma
  • Knowledge of AI tools to enhance creative processes.

  • Produce high-quality static graphic design work alongside your motion duties, jumping nimbly between mediums as the briefs demand
  • Take full, proactive ownership of the production process, ensuring technical specs and platform best practices are met every single time, no matter how tight the deadline
  • Act as our resident creative AI whizz. You possess expert level command of the leading video and image generation platforms (e.g., Midjourney, Gen-3, Topaz) and understand the nuances of prompt engineering to achieve specific, high-fidelity results fast
  • Demonstrate a deep, active curiosity for the rapid-fire social landscape. You are constantly researching what is trending and what is new across TikTok, Reels, and other platforms
  • Apply a "social-first" lens to every project, understanding intuitively what works for engagement (organic) versus conversion (paid)
