We are looking for a talented Middleweight DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will enhance our development pipeline, optimise deployment processes, and ensure site reliability for our global e-commerce platform. Working collaboratively with engineers across multiple disciplines including frontend, backend, data and QA, you will implement CI/CD pipelines, develop monitoring solutions, and ensure our systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.
Job Responsibility:
Design, build, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment
Manage and optimise cloud environments to ensure cost-efficiency, scalability, and high availability
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
Develop automation tools to streamline operations and improve system reliability
Ensure security best practices in system configurations and deployments
Support production incidents and troubleshoot issues across the platform
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in development and deployment processes
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar role
Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Python or similar scripting languages
GIT version control
