The customer is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, cost-effective health care and equipping their members with information and tools so they can make the best health care decisions for themselves and their families. We are helping to achieve our customer’s goals via developing and supporting the IT tools. Numerous applications and APIs, both for internal and external use. Teams use agile methodologies like Scrum. The majority follow TDD and pair programming. The typical team consists of 6-8 developers and a product manager who is responsible for user stories and communication. Technologies: java, selenium.
Job Responsibility:
Be responsible for the delivery, performance testing, measurements, general reports, etc
Review, analyze, and assess project requirements and specifications as well as product functionality to convert them into quality control process artifacts
Prepare and acquire test data
Develop, execute, refactor, and optimize automation scripts
Log and evaluate results and document deviations from the expected results
Understand Business Requirements and design architecture according to business needs
Collaborate with team members to follow best practices and requirements
Communicate with the customer side
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in test automation engineering, with a proven track record of framework development
Proficiency in Java, including experience with TestNG and/or JUnit for building automated test suites
Demonstrated expertise in Selenium WebDriver (web) and Appium (mobile) for UI automation
qTest skills
Strong knowledge of secure coding and testing principles, as well as QA methodology and best practices
Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-based coding assistants
Proficiency in Git, including branching workflows, code reviews, and pull requests
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and build tools (Maven, Gradle)
Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern software architectures
Experience with Postman or REST Assured for API testing
Ability to work 8:00–4:00 (or 5:00) PM CDT and willingness to work onsite in Buenos Aires a few days per week
Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to discuss technical concepts with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have:
Experience in the healthcare domain or other regulated industry environments
Familiarity with performance or security testing tools (e.g., JMeter) for deeper testing coverage
Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tools such as Cucumber
Experience working with containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Understanding of advanced branching strategies, GitOps, or other DevSecOps best practices
Knowledge of code quality scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube) and improved test coverage strategies
