As an member of the Middle Office Support Bonds team, you will assist in executing control and support functions for the Global Markets Division trading desks. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timeliness of trade capture, amendment, cancellation, validation, deal flow and lifecycle events in Front Office systems. Located close to the trading floor, you will develop a strong working relationship with traders while supporting the Credit Market Business Line that works with financial products such as Bonds, CDS, CDS Indices, Synthetic and Cash CDOs, Index Tranches, Swaps, FRAs and Strips. You will contribute to the development of reliable and effective first-level control functions while ensuring proper booking of transactions and participating in various business development projects. This role offers opportunities to participate in initiatives related to client business development, transaction security optimization, and risk control enhancement, as well as involvement in business projects such as new markets development, new products, and adaptation to new regulations and market rules.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform trade validation in Front Office systems (1st level of control)
  • Process CDS & Indices trade bookings, unwinds, and follow-up
  • Handle Swaps trade bookings, unwinds, and follow-up
  • Conduct false/technical counterparty checks
  • Support distressed assets lifecycle management
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives for trade processing
  • Support implementation of new control procedures
  • Contribute to new product development from an operational perspective
  • Identify efficiency opportunities within existing workflows
  • Support adaptation to regulatory changes affecting Middle Office operations

Requirements:

  • Degree in finance or previous experience in Middle Office functions
  • Middle Office / Back Office / Trade Support experience
