Job Description:

MO Static & Reporting Supervisor is an intermediate level position responsible for organising the BAU tasks of the EMEA Middle Office Static & Reporting Team. The team takes care of system parametrisation to ensure smooth processing of orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Processing teams. The overall objective of the successful candidate is to combine the senior expert role with supervisor’s responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise team members in duties and performance, providing feedback
Ensuring timely and accurate parametrisation of funds/brokers/custodians in trade processing systems
Assist Team Manager in performance evaluation of team members, recognise team strengths and weaknesses
Handle escalations as first point of contact
Pro-active risk management and responsibility for adequate procedures and effective controls as well as satisfying audit and regulatory requirements
Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies, in conjunction with professional judgement to make process improvement recommendations
Resolve settlement related issues and escalate as needed
recommend solutions to resolve complex issues
Participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services and upgrades to platforms
Identify policy gaps and formulate new policies to enhance the streamlining of trade flow processes
Monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank
Provide informal guidance, and/or on the job training to new team members

Requirements:

At least 3 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of financial operations
Fluency in English in speaking, reading and writing
Good working knowledge of MS Office
SWIFT knowledge is beneficial
SQL code knowledge is beneficial
