You will be joining a collaborative department of roughly 50 talented individuals across Reconciliation, Valuation, and Processing teams. As a Middle-office OTC Derivatives Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of alternative products and providing world-class reporting accuracy.
Job Responsibility:
Performing day-to-day processing and analysis of Alternative products, specifically various Derivatives products
Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reporting, accounting for performance and exposure analysis
Executing accounting functions, including updating the general ledger, reviewing Profit and Loss (P&L), and clearing reconciliation breaks
Monitoring net cash flows for various products and calculating Mark to Market (MTM) for all open positions
Posting data to respective reporting platforms and ensuring compliance with Trust Agreements and industry regulations
Collaborating with the team to provide assistance where needed and handling ad hoc requests from leadership
Requirements:
Industry Experience: Proven background in Fund Accounting, Derivatives Administration, Fund of Funds, Hedge Funds, Pension Reporting, or Equity Funds
Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills, specifically Advanced Excel (VBA/Macros)
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Communication: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a high level of English proficiency (written and verbal)
Flexibility: Ability to work the scheduled shift of 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Technology: Must have a functional personal computer for remote work days
Nice to have:
Prior experience with W360 or Bloomberg Terminal
Working knowledge of GAAP
General Securities experience
Demonstrated leadership skills or the desire to take on more responsibility
