Job Description

Our partner is looking for a Middle Office Controls Analyst to join their Global Operations department in Budapest. You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the investment platform, specifically focusing on account and counterparty setup within the Aladdin platform. This position ensures robust operational controls, data accuracy, and seamless coordination of street-facing activities. You will work cross-functionally with Portfolio Management, Compliance, and Technology to support the firm's investment operations and drive process improvements.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the end-to-end setup and activation of accounts and products, alongside counterparty maintenance within the Aladdin platform
  • Coordinate street-facing activities and assist in the onboarding and ongoing maintenance of critical middle office control processes
  • Execute assigned control tasks with precision to guarantee high standards of data integrity and operational reliability
  • Partner with Operations Leadership to identify inefficiencies and contribute to the enhancement of the overall operating model
  • Establish and oversee a management reporting function to track and visualize investment operations activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Portfolio Management, Risk, and Compliance teams to develop and maintain clear operational documentation
  • Contribute to operational projects by assisting with requirements gathering, system testing, and implementation support
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, preparing the function for audits and reviews

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of financial instruments, the trade lifecycle, and middle office processes
