Job Responsibility:

  • Product & Marketing Compliance: Legal support for product and feature launches. Analysis of user flows for compliance with platform rules (App Store / Google Play) and privacy regulations. Preparation of legal documentation (e.g., Terms of Use, Privacy Policy) and review of marketing strategies
  • Monetization & Payment Compliance: Legal support for building monetization funnels. Ensuring compliance with App Store / Google Play requirements and payment systems (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Intellectual Property (IP): Coordination of intellectual property matters, including IP assignments, trademark registrations (via agents and directly), preparation of oppositions, etc. Participation in takedown processes and protection of the company’s IP assets
  • Data Protection & Privacy: Implementation of personal data protection standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), handling user privacy requests. Development of Privacy and Cookie Policies, setup of data processing and storage workflows, and mitigation of legal risks across jurisdictions
  • Corporate Support: Legal support of the group’s corporate structure. Risk analysis across multiple jurisdictions and handling ad hoc requests related to business operations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an in-house lawyer in a product IT company
  • Hands-on experience in product & marketing compliance (App Store / Google Play), data protection (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), intellectual property, and contract law
  • Experience working with contracts in both Ukrainian and English
  • Strong legal writing and advisory skills
  • Experience conducting legal research
  • English — Upper-Intermediate+
  • Business-oriented mindset and strong communication skills (ability to collaborate with non-legal teams)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Fast learner
  • Strong attention to detail and structured approach
  • Proactive and self-driven
  • Ability to manage a high workload and prioritize effectively

Nice to have:

Experience with legal process automation

  • Creative freedom: we encourage initiative and creative thinking, so with us, you can be yourself and have the freedom of professional expression
  • Legal & Finance Support: we cooperate with the best financiers and lawyers who will be ready to help solve any of your questions upon request
