Middle High School Mathematics Teacher

• Teach Mathematics to Middle and High School students, following IB standards and curriculum requirements
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that develop problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills
• Foster a growth mindset and encourage students to explore mathematical concepts through inquiry-based learning
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and challenge students at all levels
• Assess and track student progress regularly, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as needed
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences, including graphing software and interactive platforms
• Actively contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programs, such as math clubs, competitions, and STEM initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities aligned with the IB philosophy
• Mentor students, guiding their personal, academic, and social development
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on student progress and development
• Ensure teaching aligns with IB inquiry-based learning and school values, promoting curiosity and a love for mathematics

• A university degree in Mathematics or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching mathematics to Middle and High School students, preferably in an international or IB school
• Familiarity with IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP), and inquiry-based mathematics education
• Proven ability to create a dynamic, engaging classroom environment that fosters problem-solving and critical thinking
• Proficiency in technology integration to enhance mathematics instruction through digital tools and interactive platforms
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (basic French is an advantage)
• A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues across multiple disciplines
