We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our Middle School and High School faculty in August 2026. Job Responsibility:
Teach Mathematics to Middle and High School students, following IB standards and curriculum requirements
Design and deliver engaging lessons that develop problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills
Foster a growth mindset and encourage students to explore mathematical concepts through inquiry-based learning
Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and challenge students at all levels
Assess and track student progress regularly, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as needed
Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences, including graphing software and interactive platforms
Actively contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programs, such as math clubs, competitions, and STEM initiatives
Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities aligned with the IB philosophy
Mentor students, guiding their personal, academic, and social development
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on student progress and development
Ensure teaching aligns with IB inquiry-based learning and school values, promoting curiosity and a love for mathematics
Requirements:
A university degree in Mathematics or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching mathematics to Middle and High School students, preferably in an international or IB school
Familiarity with IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP), and inquiry-based mathematics education
Proven ability to create a dynamic, engaging classroom environment that fosters problem-solving and critical thinking
Proficiency in technology integration to enhance mathematics instruction through digital tools and interactive platforms
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (basic French is an advantage)
A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues across multiple disciplines
