EveryMatrix is a leading B2B SaaS provider delivering iGaming software, content and services. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mid DevOps Engineer to join our team in Zagreb, Croatia!
Job Responsibility:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
Administer Linux-based production systems and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
Operate Kafka and other messaging/streaming systems
Set up monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery solutions
Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis
Collaborate with developers to improve deployments and system stability
Maintain infrastructure and operational documentation
Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
Requirements:
2 - 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or system engineering
Strong Linux/Unix and networking knowledge
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
Hands-on experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes
Understanding of database administration and backup strategies
Experience with Kafka or other message brokers
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK)
Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
Good communication skills and fluent English
Willingness to participate in on-call duty and occasional standby work
Nice to have:
Experience with high-availability or 24/7 systems is a plus
