We are looking for a Data Analyst (Analytics & Forecasting Team) to support forecasting and market modelling initiatives within a global healthcare environment. This role is primarily focused on maintaining and enhancing Excel-based forecasting models, while gradually contributing to their modernization and migration to cloud-based solutions. The position combines hands-on data analysis, model ownership, and close collaboration with business stakeholders, particularly in finance and planning functions. The ideal candidate is a strong Excel-driven analyst with forecasting exposure who is comfortable working with complex models, understanding business needs, and contributing to the evolution of analytical solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Own and maintain existing Excel-based forecasting models, ensuring stability, accuracy, and usability
Extend and enhance model functionality using Excel and VBA
Populate, validate, and manage data within forecasting and planning models
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into analytical solutions
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making, primarily for finance and planning teams
Work with multiple data sources (market data, CRM, financial inputs) to validate assumptions
Support data transfer and integration processes, including working with data platforms (e.g., Foundry)
Contribute to the migration of Excel-based solutions to cloud environments
Identify opportunities to improve model efficiency, structure, and automation
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in data analytics, forecasting, or similar analytical roles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong experience with VBA for modelling and automation
Solid data analysis skills with an understanding of analytical and statistical concepts
Experience working with SQL and structured datasets
Ability to gather and translate business requirements into analytical solutions
Strong communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders (preferably finance teams)
High attention to detail and an ownership mindset
Nice to have:
Experience with forecasting models or planning tools
Exposure to cloud platforms and migration of Excel-based solutions
Experience working with data platforms (e.g., Palantir Foundry)
Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation
Understanding of forecasting methodologies
Experience in pharma, healthcare, or consumer healthcare domains
