Midday Assistant

• Supervising children from Nursery to Year 6 during lunchtime
• Organising activities
• Supervising children during mealtimes
• Sanitising eating areas
• Attending Midday Assistant meetings and training

• Act as an excellent role model for the children and promote the school’s values
• Encourage children to develop their personal and social skills through modelled play and promote excellent behaviour at all times
• Interact with the children and use initiative to organise activities
• Supervise children during mealtimes, encouraging them to eat correctly and to develop independence in clearing away
• Sanitise all eating areas and brush the floor as needed
• Adhere to all school policies especially those relating to behaviour, safeguarding, health and safety, equal opportunities and confidentiality
