Job Description:

The Mid QA Automation Tester role at NTT DATA involves automating UI/API test cases and maintaining regression suites. Candidates should have a strong background in Java, Selenium, and API testing tools like REST Assured and Postman. The position requires collaboration with developers and a keen attention to detail. Experience in Guidewire is a plus. This is a hybrid role based in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Job Responsibility:

  • Automate UI/API test cases (frameworks like Selenium + Java, REST Assured)
  • Maintain regression suites

  • Pair with developers on story acceptance criteria and test data setup
  • Execute smoke/regression tests in CI

Requirements:

  • Basics of test automation (Selenium/WebDriver), Java, TestNG/JUnit
  • API testing (Postman/REST Assured), JSON/XML, basic SQL
  • Understanding of SDLC, defect lifecycle, and version control (Git)
  • +2-3 years in QA

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with common Guidewire scenarios (FNOL, endorsements, renewals)
  • Experience with test design for GW screens and data dependencies
