Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mid Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take ownership of critical platform services, focusing on the administration of ArgoCD, monitoring infrastructure, and supporting application teams with CI/CD processes. This position is perfect for someone passionate about cloud technologies, monitoring systems, and automation, with a solid background in programming and DevOps.

Job Responsibility:

Administer and maintain ArgoCD and associated infrastructure
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Prometheus exporters (primarily written in Java and other languages)
Create, enhance, and sustain monitoring infrastructure to ensure application reliability
Collaborate with application teams to assist with CI/CD pipelines, from configuration to setup
Embrace and adapt to new tools, languages, and technologies as the needs of the organization evolve

Requirements:

Proven experience in Java programming
Strong willingness to learn new programming languages and technologies
Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes (either configuring applications for CI/CD or setting up pipelines)
Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle, Heroku, etc.)

Nice to have:

Experience or familiarity with Prometheus and monitoring systems
Experience or familiarity with ArgoCD or GitOps principles
Experience or familiarity with Helm charts for Kubernetes
Experience or familiarity with additional programming languages such as Node.js or Python
