As a mid-market second-line sales leader, you will oversee a team dedicated to acquiring and managing mid-market customers across a set of markets in EMEA. The role involves the development of a large sales organization across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, focusing on sales strategies, long-term relationships with key accounts, and revenue targets.
Job Responsibility:
Leading and managing a team of Mid-Market sales managers and their teams
developing customized sales strategies and plans for Germany, Switzerland and Austria
achieving sales targets and revenue goals within the Mid-Market segment
developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand market share
providing mentorship and guidance to sales managers
setting performance goals and metrics for the sales team
recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new managers
collaborating with internal teams to streamline sales processes and enhance customer satisfaction
analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
conducting regular performance evaluations
providing updates and reports on sales performance to corporate leadership team
staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
Requirements:
Fluent in German and English
10+ years experience in SaaS cloud sales
5+ years experience as a second line people manager
strong track record of success
motivated and inspired to coach, enable, and mentor selling professionals
experience leading and coaching through value-driven and solution-oriented sales cycles
comfortable building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders
experience in consultative selling defining business outcomes and value definition
