Job Description

We are currently looking for enthusiastic UI/UX Designers to join our dynamic and highly motivating Deloitte Digital team in Athens. Your role as a UI/UX Designer at Deloitte Digital will focus on delivering stunning digital concepts to meet client briefs and expectations as well as the company’s own vision & mentality. The successful candidates will work in designing consumer-oriented websites and mobile applications that embody our clients' brands.

Job Responsibility

  • Create top quality design work and innovative online experiences for a wide-range of markets & brands
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their brand identity, target audience, and design requirements
  • Utilize Figma and Figma AI features (e.g., Figma Make, auto-layout, components) to rapidly prototype and iterate design solutions
  • Develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites and mobile app designs that align with clients' brands and meet their business objectives
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mock-ups to effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions
  • Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries for consistency across products
  • Fully own and present creative concepts internally and to the client throughout all phases of the project
  • Conduct thorough research and stay updated with the latest design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of web and mobile app design
  • Apply a user-centered design approach to ensure intuitive and seamless user experiences across various devices and platforms
  • Optimize designs for responsiveness, performance, and accessibility
  • Iterate and improve designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and analytical insights
  • Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all design deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with developers or other cross-functional team members to ensure successful implementation of designs

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Design, Computer Science or technical disciplines
  • Up to 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Web Designer, UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and interaction design
  • Strong empathy for understanding and connecting with different brands and their target audiences
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate design concepts, collaborate with team members, and present ideas to clients
  • Ability to understand front-end development constraints and collaborate effectively with developers
  • Attention to detail, with a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and visual design
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe XD, Figma
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) is a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Midjourney) and their application in UX/UI design processes
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, including components, auto-layout, and design systems
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices, including generative AI and conversational UI
  • Continuous learning mindset with a proactive approach to adopting new tools, technologies, and best practices
  • Military obligations fulfilled where applicable

Nice to have
