Job Description

The Mid-Level Scheduler supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will: Be responsible for coordinating, developing, maintaining and analyzing project or program schedules. Create, update, and baseline Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Identify schedule variances, analyz critical paths, and forecast impacts to milestones. Work with program managers, control account managers, and functional teams to gather updates and resolve conflicts. Prepare reports and briefings on schedule performance for managers.

Job Responsibility

  • Be responsible for coordinating, developing, maintaining and analyzing project or program schedules

Requirements

  • Must have 1, or more, years of directly related experience
  • Must have expert knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Project or other industry standard scheduling tool
  • Basic understanding of aerospace defense
  • Must have a working knowledge of Deltek Cobra, Empower, or other EVM software tools. Microsoft Office suite
  • Must have strong math and research skills
  • Must have a strong understanding of Earned Value Management methodologies. management methodology
  • Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Nice to have

  • Have a strong understanding of aerospace defense
  • Have a strong proficiency with Deltek Cobra, Empower, or other EVM software tools.etc. and financial systems
  • Have a professional certification such as PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Have expert knowledge of Microsoft Project
