Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mid-Level Salesforce Administrator to support and enhance our Salesforce environment. This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on experience who can balance day-to-day support with small-scale builds and configuration tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable gathering requirements, asking business analyst-style questions, and translating business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide daily support for Salesforce users, including troubleshooting and resolving external-facing Cases
  • Administer and configure Experience Cloud and Service Cloud, including portals, dashboards, and bots
  • Manage user lifecycle tasks: setup, deactivation, role/profile assignments, and permission sets
  • Maintain and build custom fields, page layouts, record types, Lightning pages, and picklists
  • Create and optimize Reports and Dashboards to support business insights
  • Design and implement Salesforce Flows and other automation tools to streamline processes
  • Handle smaller configuration requests and enhancements with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ensure thorough documentation of configurations, processes, and user guides
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
  • Support multiple Salesforce instances and assist with upgrades and enhancements
  • Track work and collaborate on tasks using Azure DevOps or similar tools
  • Respond to general Salesforce-related questions and provide guidance to users

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration tools and best practices
  • Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to ask the right questions to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and user support

  • Support and participate in ASA(ALT)'s process to negotiate Defense Appropriations Bill conference issues.
  • Provide expert advice to CPE Aviation Headquarters in preparation for meetings chaired by Army Senior Leaders that address congressional issues. Prepare the CPE for testimony before Congress.
  • Develop strategies for improving and maintaining strong relationships with Congress. Serve as the organization's strategist on Congressional affairs, establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with Members of Congress and Professional Staff Members of the four primary defense subcommittees. Liaise with Army Staff, Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of the Army (DA) Legislative Affairs, and major Army commands for CPE Aviation's posture on all activities.
  • Monitor and advises CPE Aviation, Chief of Staff, Assistant CPEs and PMs on actions initiated by Congressional committees, individual Members of Congress, and their staffs that are of direct and indirect concern to CPE Aviation.
  • Obtain CPE guidance and work directly with PM offices to produce briefing material and messaging to be presented during congressional engagements and in response to congressional inquiries including reports.
