Job Responsibility

Job Responsibility

Monitor the Defense Appropriations Bill process, beginning with Army Posture Hearings, subcommittee/committee deliberations on the Bill, House and Senate Floor action, and White House action for impact on the organizations' programs.
Coordinates with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management) and the Director of the Army Budget on the Defense Appropriations Bill to ensure CPE programs continuity.

Develop strategies for improving and maintaining strong relationships with Congress. Serve as the organization's strategist on Congressional affairs, establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with Members of Congress and Professional Staff Members of the four primary defense subcommittees. Liaise with Army Staff, Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of the Army (DA) Legislative Affairs, and major Army commands for CPE Aviation's posture on all activities.
