Job Description

As a Mid-level Product Designer at Xelix, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver functional, user-friendly, and impactful products. You will contribute to shaping the user experience across our platform, ensuring designs are grounded in user needs and align with our product vision. This role is ideal for a designer who has solid experience shipping product work, is confident across the design process, and is ready to grow into greater ownership and responsibility.

Job Responsibility

  • Take ownership of design tasks from discovery to delivery, including wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Ensure solutions are usable, accessible, and visually consistent with our design system
  • Collaborate with engineers to refine implementation and ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Contribute to planning and running user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions
  • Translate findings into actionable insights and iterate on designs based on evidence
  • Champion a user-centered approach, ensuring decisions are informed by user needs and data
  • Partner with product managers to understand requirements, priorities, and constraints
  • Work closely with engineers to address technical feasibility and refine designs
  • Clearly communicate design rationale and facilitate workshops with stakeholders, contributing to alignment across teams
  • Apply and extend our design system to ensure a cohesive and scalable product experience
  • Contribute to documentation and help evolve shared patterns and standards
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices

  • 2-4 years of experience in product design with a portfolio showcasing user-centered, high-quality product work
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects from concept through to delivery

  • Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma)
  • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design systems
