Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking, driven individual with superb energy, passion, and experience to drive new business acquisition in the Corporate Mid-Enterprise market, which includes Hospitality, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Financial Services. This person will join a growing Corporate Enterprise Field Sales team and will cover the Greater Montreal region. The Enterprise Account Executive will play an integral role in developing the territory and will focus on formulating and executing a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in new customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics and quota, with a strong emphasis on generating net new business sales
  • Meet or exceed individual targets and contribute to the overall team and company success
  • Gain an in-depth and detailed understanding of Verkada’s business and products, as well as the physical security market, to confidently sell to C-level executives within Enterprise organizations
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting
  • Consistently exceed activity targets through proactive outreach via phone calls, emails, conducting online demos, and facilitating trials
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to customers and channel partners
  • This role requires regular travel, estimated to be more than 50% of the time, including both domestic and international destinations as needed

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of quota-carrying Sales experience (selling Enterprise BtoB solutions a plus)
  • A track record of developing a greenfield territory, adding net new logos in a Commercial or Enterprise software role
  • Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, nurture relationships, and strong presentation skills
  • Thrive in a dynamic, competitive, and fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience in Salesforce, MEDDPICC a plus
  • Hunter mentality, tenacious, drive to learn, and self-motivated
  • BS/BA degree strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in both English and French is considered a strong asset
