Job Description:

This is an exceptional job opportunity to join UK’s leading translation and Interpretation company EMPIRE GROUP. We are looking for full time Mobile Application Developer for our office located in Phase 7, Bahria town, Islamabad. The incumbent must have prior experience in developing both android and iOS applications. The developer will lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support. In addition to delivering the product the successful candidate will be heavily involved in driving the mobile strategy globally.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Experience with the Android SDK, java, NDK, Kotlin
  • Proven work experience in API integration with retrofit
  • Previous experience of developing VOIP applications
  • Worked in firebase products like authentication, real-time database, storage
  • Design, develop, code, test, and release to QA iOS apps in alignment with our business goal
  • Ability to switch among multiple projects
  • Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews
  • Understand UX and UI design, so end-user requirements can be effectively translated into technical solutions
  • Deep understanding of Objective-C or Swift
  • Solid experience in native IOS development frameworks (API, testing, deployment, etc.)
  • Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data or Core Animation
  • Comprehensive understanding of Agile development process

Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science/Information Technology or software engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience as developer on both Android/iOS platforms
  • Must have sufficient knowledge of publishing apps on both platform
  • Prior experience of developing VOIP applications on either platform
  • Ability to manage project and lead a team from front
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (To-do attitude)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
