Job Description:

We are looking for a Microsoft Project Planner SME to support a live programme by consolidating multiple existing plans into a single, accurate, and baseline-ready view. This is not a greenfield role—you will be working with plans already in place, improving quality, strengthening dependencies, and ensuring a clear, realistic path to completion.

Job Responsibility:

  • Consolidate external partner and internal plans into a single MS Project schedule
  • Define and validate the critical path, dependencies, and milestones
  • Challenge and validate updates from workstream leads, ensuring impacts on timelines are understood
  • Identify planning gaps, inconsistencies, and risks, and address them proactively
  • Ensure plans are accurate, current, and baseline-ready
  • Engage with delivery teams to extract key information and clarify assumptions
  • Provide clear, concise updates and insights back to the programme team

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Project (essential)
  • Proven experience managing and improving complex programme plans
  • Ability to analyse dependencies and understand impact of schedule changes
  • Confident in challenging stakeholders and driving accountability
  • Excellent communication skills—able to extract information and present key messages clearly
  • Ability to hit the ground running and deliver value quickly
