NTT DATA is looking for a Microsoft Mobile & Desktop Client Suite Engineer with German to provide Level 2 technical support, manage endpoint configuration and security, and support modern workplace environments.
Job Responsibility:
Provide Level 2 technical support for enterprise Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, ensuring reliable and secure end-user computing services
Resolve complex incidents escalated from Level 1 support within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, user profiles, device performance, and network connectivity
Manage device configuration, security policies, and compliance using endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
Support Windows 10/11 build processes, patch management, and feature updates across enterprise environments
Assist with device onboarding, provisioning, refresh cycles, and migration activities, including Windows Autopilot and lifecycle management
Troubleshoot and support Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise (Office) client applications
Manage and support mobile device management (MDM) for iOS and Android, including BYOD scenarios
Monitor endpoint health, compliance, and security posture, and remediate non-compliant devices
Maintain and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational runbooks
Collaborate with identity, security, networking, and Microsoft 365 teams to resolve cross-platform issues
Support change, release, and operational activities in alignment with ITIL processes
Provide guidance and mentoring to Level 1 support engineers and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives
Participate in on-call rotations and out-of-hours support for live streaming events and critical service incidents
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in end-user computing, desktop support, or EUC engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11 enterprise environments and endpoint lifecycle management
Proven experience supporting enterprise mobile devices (iOS and Android) and modern workplace environments
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), including device configuration, compliance policies, and application deployment
Experience with Windows Autopilot, provisioning, and device onboarding processes
Solid understanding of endpoint security, including BitLocker, device compliance policies, conditional access, and endpoint protection
Experience integrating endpoints with Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity environments
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
Experience with application packaging and deployment technologies such as Win32, MSI, and MSIX
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation for endpoint administration
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, particularly in diagnosing networking and performance issues affecting endpoints
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German
Nice to have:
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate, MS-900, CompTIA A+, or ITIL Foundation are desirable
