Job Description

The MECM Engineer drives endpoint and server infrastructure management , executing technical strategies to ensure the reliable delivery of application packages and system updates. Using advanced task sequence logic and zero-touch automation, this role maintains the Operating System Deployment (OSD) lifecycle and oversees the monthly patching cycle for workstations and servers. The role is responsible for proactive client health monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and the maintenance of site servers and distribution points to ensure optimal synchronization. By leveraging PowerShell automation and SQL reporting, the MECM Engineer provides Tier 3 escalation support and detailed technical documentation to maintain a secure, transparent, and high-performing corporate environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the MECM console to deploy applications, software updates, and configuration baselines across the enterprise
  • Build and maintain automated Windows operating system deployment (OSD) task sequences and driver packages
  • Execute monthly patching cycles and security vulnerability remediations for both workstations and servers
  • Monitor and repair MECM client health and distribution point infrastructure to ensure envrionmental stability and reliability
  • Use PowerShell scripting to automate manual tasks and perform Tier 3 troubleshooting for complex issue

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience supporting infrastructure/application management roles/responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree, One-and-one- half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program
