Job Description:

We are seeking a forward‑thinking, impact‑driven Microsoft Elevate Worldwide Data Solutions Go to Market Director to drive the go‑to‑market strategy for Microsoft Data Solutions, supporting mission‑driven organizations across K–12 education and the nonprofit sector. In this role, you will shape and accelerate the adoption of modern data platforms, analytics, and AI‑ready data capabilities that enable these organizations to unlock insights, improve outcomes, and build a secure foundation for responsible AI. You will lead the GTM motion for Data Solutions across these sectors—helping school systems and nonprofits modernize their data estates, strengthen governance, and turn high‑value data into measurable impact. A critical part of your remit is ensuring our data offerings and AI‑enabled capabilities truly meet the needs of these organizations—grounded in product truth, customer context, and real‑world use cases that improve learning, operations, reporting, and community impact at scale. You will work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and business operations teams to translate strategy into clear execution plans, ensure fiscal‑year alignment, and deliver measurable, sustainable impact for K–12 and nonprofit customers globally. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Job Responsibility:

  • Champion the adoption of secure AI-powered productivity solutions, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and agent-based workflows, to help nonprofits scale their impact.
  • Lead the development of offers, programs, and investment strategies tailored to the unique needs of nonprofit organizations, with a focus on AI readiness and digital transformation.
  • Serve as the principal advocate for AI Workforce in the nonprofit ecosystem, aligning internal stakeholders, partners, and field teams to accelerate adoption and usage.
  • Drive partner-led growth by enabling a robust ecosystem of solution providers to deliver value through AI agents, Copilot Studio, and integrated Microsoft 365 experiences.
  • Own and manage key performance indicators that reflect the health, reach, and impact of the Modern Work business across the nonprofit sector.
  • Develop and lead the business strategy for Microsoft Data Solutions—including modern data platforms, analytics, data governance, and AI‑ready data foundations—across the K–12 and nonprofit sectors.
  • Track performance and long‑term sustainability of data modernization and AI‑readiness initiatives, ensuring adoption is durable, scalable, and aligned to the needs of mission‑driven organizations.
  • Hold end‑to‑end accountability for defining scorecard metrics and KPIs that reflect data maturity, platform adoption, solution impact, and organizational outcomes.
  • Partner across senior leadership using a One Microsoft approach to drive alignment, inform investments, and optimize strategic decision‑making.
  • Represent the business in Rhythm of Business, monthly, and quarterly reviews—providing insights, risks, and recommendations grounded in product truth, customer data maturity, and real operational challenges.
  • Ensure field teams have the training, resources, and guidance needed to confidently drive data modernization, Fabric adoption, Azure data platform usage, and governance transformation in K–12 schools and nonprofits.
  • Serve as the central orchestrator between corporate and field teams, ensuring clarity on targets, priorities, blockers, and actions.
  • Activate and scale a partner ecosystem capable of delivering Fabricbased analytics, data integration, data governance with Purview, and AIready data architecture that meets the needs of educators, administrators, and nonprofit program leaders.
  • Identify adoption barriers—technical, organizational, or capabilityrelated—and mobilize crossfunctional support to remove friction and accelerate customer progress.
  • Create and orchestrate GTM strategies for Data Solutions, spanning data platforms, analytics, data governance, and AIreadiness across sales, marketing, industry, customer success, and partner teams.
  • Partner with the ecosystem to recruit, enable, and scale partners who can deliver highquality data estate modernization, Fabric deployments, governance solutions, and sectorspecific analytics for missiondriven customers.
  • Define and analyze KPIs and scorecard metrics related to data-driven transformation, ensuring investment and resourcing align with strategic opportunity and measurable impact.
  • Drive execution of GTM plans, ensuring teams understand priorities, dependencies, results expected, and cross-functional alignment required for success.
  • Continuously evaluate GTM performance and market signals to optimize strategy, improve effectiveness, and capture new growth opportunities in K–12 and nonprofit markets.
  • Serve as a leading spokesperson and advocate for Microsoft Data Solutions—including Fabric, Purview, Azure Data, and AIready data foundations—across K–12 and nonprofit sectors.
  • Use deep product, industry, and technical knowledge to localize value propositions, shape messaging, refine readiness content, and amplify customer success stories.
  • Guide field teams on highvalue customer data scenarios such as improving learning analytics, strengthening reporting, modernizing legacy data systems, streamlining nonprofit program measurement, and enabling AI safely through clean, governed, accessible data.
  • Lead crossfunctional orchestration across engineering, marketing, industry, partner, and customer success teams to advance successful data solution adoption.
  • Identify and cultivate whitespace opportunities in data estate modernization, Fabric analytics, Purview governance, and sectorspecific data insights for K–12 and nonprofits.
  • Leverage deep understanding of revenue goals, market potential, and data capabilities to build strategies that maximize organizational impact and accelerate data maturity.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with internal teams, partners, and customers to operationalize strategies and ensure scalable, repeatable solution delivery around Data Solutions.
  • Build and maintain expertise in K–12 education and nonprofit operations, including data privacy requirements, responsible data practices, reporting needs, policy trends, and common sector data challenges.
  • Stay current on Fabric, Purview, Azure Data, and emerging data+AI technologies and represent customer insights, blockers, and future needs to sales, engineering, product, and marketing teams.
  • Serve as a sector thought leader—sharing insights with communities, partners, and internal teams—and guiding colleagues on sector nuances and opportunity areas.
