As a Microsoft Azure Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you will drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing Azure‑centric opportunities across assigned and existing accounts. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will engage closely with clients to understand their business objectives and design cloud‑based solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. You will collaborate with Client Management, pre‑sales architects, and delivery teams to present comprehensive Azure value propositions, address technical challenges during the sales cycle, and convert opportunities into successful projects. In this role, you are also responsible for building and managing your own sales pipeline within your client base.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and pursue new Microsoft Azure opportunities within existing and assigned accounts
Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline, from lead qualification to deal closure
Engage directly with clients to understand business goals, challenges, and cloud adoption strategies
Position Microsoft Azure solutions including cloud infrastructure, migration, modernization, security, data, and analytics
Work closely with Client Management and pre‑sales architects to design and present tailored solutions
Support the pre‑sales process, including solution shaping, proposals, and technical discussions
Prepare and deliver client workshops, executive presentations, and solution demonstrations
Develop and maintain account plans, identifying cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across Azure and related technologies
Manage proposals, scope of work, pricing, and commercial negotiations
Ensure accurate sales forecasting, opportunity tracking, and close plans using sales tools and CRM
Monitor market trends, Microsoft Azure roadmap updates, and competitive landscape
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems, Business, Sales, or related field
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets
Strong experience selling Microsoft Azure solutions in an enterprise or mid‑market environment
Ability to operate in a team‑selling model, collaborating across sales, pre‑sales, and delivery teams
Solid understanding of cloud competitors and positioning strategies
Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
