Job Description:

Microbiology Development Scientist 1 responsible for supporting laboratory operations through routine microbiological activities, maintaining lab standards, and ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality guidelines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform routine laboratory maintenance and general lab duties
  • Propagate bacterial cultures and prepare media/reagents
  • Label plates, tubes, and maintain organized lab inventory
  • Follow established SOPs and scientific methods
  • Maintain inventory control of media and reagents
  • Assist in equipment qualification, validation, and calibration
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks and documentation as per GDP guidelines
  • Support additional tasks assigned by management
