Job Description

We are looking for a MI Specialist to join our People team. This role will be part of a small but highly technical Systems and Data team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality people insights that inform future decision making. The role holder will model, analyse and visualise people data, presenting complex information in a clear and accessible way. They will take responsibility for routine reporting, ensuring all outputs adhere to governance standards, regulatory guidelines and business requirements. Working closely with the People team and wider stakeholders, the person in post will support data preparation, engineering, analysis and visualisation while seeking continuous improvement in the quality, accuracy and impact of insights produced. They will proactively design and deliver ad-hoc MI, build strong and effective relationships and provide constructive challenge where needed. The role holder will also develop and maintain routine reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business objectives, while managing reporting tools to keep outputs current and fit for purpose. The MI Specialist will provide technical support across the Group, contributing to projects, audits, annual processes and external reporting requirements. They will guide others in effective reporting and help stakeholders interpret their requirements to deliver solutions that are both practical and valuable.

Requirements

  • Experience of data visualisation and dashboards with the ability to support with data through Workday PRISM and Power BI
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Workday or other Saas and Survey Software
  • The ability to independently research, assess, interpret and validate data
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present this in meaningful MI
  • Experience in these areas would be helpful: Modern HRIS system, ideally Workday
  • Working within a people / HR data role
