Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4, focusing on the four key skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing
Use creative resources to bring the culture of target-language countries to life, making lessons relevant and exciting
Support Year 11 students with intensive grammar workshops and speaking practice to ensure exam success
Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to practice their speaking skills
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help students bridge learning gaps
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant language (French, Spanish, or German)
A proven track record of teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE)
Native or near-native fluency in at least one modern foreign language
The ability to step into new departments and quickly build rapport with students
A current Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
